HOW TO BE OUR SPEECH CONTEST CHAMPION
→ NOW! Write a speech on a topic of your choice in Japanese.
→ Submit your script and application 15 October
→ Shortlisted applicants will be notified via email by 20 October.
→ Submit an audio recording of your speech 15 November.
→ Finalists will be notified via email 01 December
→ Finalists PRESENT YOUR SPEECH LIVE 13 December 2025.

ELIGIBILITY& REQUIREMENTS
The participant must be a Bangladeshi citizen currently residing in Bangladesh.
Anyone who has stayed in Japan for more than 3 months is not eligible.
Participants whose father or mother is Japanese are not eligible.
Those who previously won 1st, 2nd, or 3rd prize in a national/international Japanese speech contest cannot apply.
Beginner Category: Students with 12 months or less of Japanese language study (institutional or self-study).
Participants under 18 years of age must submit a signed parental/guardian consent form.

HOW TO APPLY
1) Write an original script for a 4 minute speech on a topic of your choice Name your script file "Title _Name" (e.g. "My Dream _Rahim*)
2) Go to official application form online (Google Form/QR code).
3) Fill in the online application form and submit your speech script no later than 15 October.
4) All participants are required to submit an online Application.

POINTS TO NOTE
1) You cannot submit a script that has been presented in public before. The Japanese Speech Contest Committee reserves the right to request amendments to any speech that is deemed to be of a sensitive nature.
2) Free tuition (subject to availability) will be provided to finalists if requested during application.
3) Each speech must be within 4 minutes.
4) Preliminary screening will be done in two steps:
Script screening → top 50 shortlisted.
Video submission & evaluation → top 10–15 finalists.
The 5 finalists will perform live at the Grand Final in Dhaka.
3) Late applications will not be accepted. Only applications submitted via the online form above will be accepted.
4) The Committee reserves the right to reject any applicants found to have not met the eligibility and application requirements.
